- Gangadhar Nehru
Gangadhar Nehru was an Indian police service official who remained at the position of Delhi’s last Kotwal of Delhi before the famous rebellion of the year 1857. His son was Motilal Nehru who was a freedom fighter. Gangadhar Nehru’s wife, Jeorani also belonged to this generation.
Second Generation
- Bansi Dhar Nehru
He was the eldest son of Gangadhar Nehru and worked with the British government’s judicialwing. He was partly separated and cut off with the other members of the family as he was appointed on various different positions.

He was Motilal Nehru’s brother and was the Dewan of Khetni which was then a princely state.
